From the Garden

June 2, 2024

From the Gardent Photographs of Acron and a Radish

Acorn

Acorn seedling my neighbor pick from her yard.  I love the form of the object.

Radish

1 month old radish from my garden.  I picked one the other day, and loved the look of the dirty roots.

I planned on photographing the radish, but the acorn was a surprise.  Luckily, I had just finished with the radish, and still had the lights set up.  I use a mono light strobe with a soft box for my main light, the wall as a fill, along with an off camera strobe as  back/side light.  Originally, I planned the make the wall totally white, but I didn't like that look.

I can photograph just about anything, so feel free to contact John Whitehead images
